New issue of Aura
Aura – Journal of Academic Studies of Neo-Religion – has published a new issue (Volume 7, 2015) now on the spring fringe. Behind the magazine is the organization FINYAR:
"Aura is published by FINYAR, the Association of Research and Information on New Religion, which was founded in 1997 by a number of researchers in various religious and behavioural sciences, linked to various Swedish universities. Finyar equivalents can be found in other countries, such as CESNUR in Italy and INFORM in England."
The issue includes: "Haunted Houses and the Ghosts of Media Logic: Spiritualist Media's Entry into Swedish Television in the 21st Century", by Jessica Moberg "The History Mythology of Mormons and the Encounter with Modern Science", by Olav Hammer "Kundalinin in the Garden of Eden: Appropriation of Hindu Tantra within the Magic Order dragon Rouge", by Kim Lindgren The magazine also contains reviews, among others of the anthology "New Age Spirituality" (2013), Edited by Steven J.
