Dawkins gets backlash
Biologist Richard Dawkins visited Sweden in the autumn of 2015. Among other things, he participated in an event together with The Humanists Christer Sturmark at Cirkus in Stockholm. He also appeared on the television program "Skavlan". Stefan Gustavsson, from the Swedish Evangelical Alliance, makes his starting point in this visit when he in a post on YouTube answers Dawkins' "Top-5" reasons why there need to be no God. To begin with, Gustavsson argues that Dawkins' materialist-Darwinian worldview is the normal in Sweden. It may seem like it is from a Christian point of view. And maybe that's even true. But it is interesting to think about the large group that seems to be somewhere "in between". Those who sympathize with the New Age, and presumably most who profess a "new-age" worldview, belong here. But the group of Swedes who now feel limited by both the Christians and the materialistic explanations is larger than that. (For example, those who, unlike these two debaters, do not want to dismiss the existence of "fairies" and the like.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iPEIbMVWzM&app=desktop
