The New Age was directly linked to uncertain attachment and emotional-based religiosity, even to spiritual crises or turning points

"Two-level correspondence hypothesis", which says that wise secure attachment takes over parental religion (soc corr), this that a positive model of self/others leads to the image of God as loving and nurturing
